One of the fun ways to support Lakeside is through the many events we sponsor on an annual basis. We hope you see something that interests you!

Casino Night February 27, 2010

This evening provided good food, good company and lots of fun at the gaming tables during the dreary winter months in Western New York. Every participant received play money to gamble with that was cashed in at the end of the night for a chance to win some great prizes! Ticket prices were $50, which included an entry into the Win Big Lottery, or $10 for admission into Casino Night. Thank you to the many area businesses and individuals who supported the evening. The Kevin C. Nacy Golf Classic June 7, 2010

Come join us for a great day of golf while supporting the Lakeside Health System. The Kevin C. Nacy Golf Classic is in honor of our former CEO, good friend and avid golfer, Kevin Nacy. Held at the Brockport Country Club, this tournament kicks off the season in a great way! Multiple sponsorship levels are available with many benefits. An individual golfer will pay $165 for 18 holes, ½ cart shared, lunch and dinner, refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, chances to win great raffle prizes, and free use of the driving range. Our emcee for the day is Pat McGonigle, News 10 NBC’s Today anchor.

Clarkson Classic 5K Road Race/Walk August 28, 2010

As part of the Clarkson Good Neighbor Days Festival, this flat course will wind through residential neighborhoods in Clarkson. USATF certified. All proceeds will benefit the Lakeside Foundation. Pre-registration $16 by 8/25; $20 Race Day.

BISCO/Lakeside Duck Derby August 1, 2010

This annual community event, which is held during the Brockport Arts Festival, is sponsored by the Brockport Integrated Service Club Organization (BISCO) and Lakeside. The Duck Derby is a race on the historic Erie Canal,in the Village of Brockport, with plastic ducks that have been purchased individually or in flocks. The owners of the “winning” ducks win prizes that vary from gift certificates to baskets of merchandise to cash. Duck Derby merchandise – T-shirts, caps and whistles – is available for purchase at the event. Stop by and check us out!

Gymkhana September 18, 2010 (Rain date: September 25, 2010)

This annual equestrian event consists of timed games for riders on horses. It proves to be a wonderful day of sportsmanship held at Manitou Hill Farms in Hilton. This event, for riders and spectators, has games, food, raffles, beautiful horses, and much more!

21st Annual Gala Dinner December 10, 2010

This lovely evening features an internationally known speaker, delicious cuisine, and live and silent auctions in the beautiful Riverside Convention Center in downtown Rochester. Music for dancing is provided. Master of Ceremonies is Don Alhart, associate news director and lead anchor at WHAM-TV Channel 13. Tickets can be purchased individually or as a table of 10. Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available. Don’t miss being a part of this premier event in Rochester!
