Since 1990 this remarkable group of women has donated $436,357 to benefit Lakeside.
Today you will find Twig members raising money by...
- baking and selling a delicious variety of pies at their annual Thanksgiving Pie Sale
- escorting visitors at the summer Tour of Homes
- inviting the community to honor loved ones at the Tree of Lights Ceremony
- sharing bargains at the Annual Yard Sale
- serving delicious home-made meals at the Chicken ‘N Biscuit and Spaghetti Dinners
- entertaining players and awarding prizes at Bunco Parties
In addition to their financial support, Twig members also…
- operate the Twig Gift Shop
- knit hats for newborns
- supply flowers to decorate the main lobby
- sew slings for hospital patients and bibs for care center residents
- create tray favors for patients and residents
- fund ten annual $500 scholarships to students in the health care field
- decorate the campus for the holidays
- tend to the courtyard and flower beds.
